The group meets monthly on a Saturday and is for those interested in the hobby of computer desktop air-combat simulation. The simulation is accomplished through appropriate powered home deck top computers and a suitable flight combat game linked together in a local area network (LAN). All participants find themselves in the same virtual simulated environment. The aim is to virtually create and recreate historical or plausible scenarios of aerial combat and play them out. The meeting offers the group a forum in which to develop computer skills, knowledge of military history, as well as socializing in a friendly atmosphere.
